But while his boyfriend is here, Naim is discovering that he himself has romantic and sexual feelings for Ryan that he clearly isn’t meant to have.

Summary
He doesn’t know what he’s doing, what brought him here, what made them end up alone at the back of this bus in the middle of the night. It’s like his body keeps stumbling, leading him somewhere. There’s all this momentum, this speed that propels him forward before he can question it, before he can think where they might end up.
The problem is, he likes where they’re going. He doesn’t care to slow down, to be smart about it, because he keeps fucking loving where they end up.
He thinks, if I get to keep looking at him a bit longer, if I get to sit with our legs pressed up against each other like this, kick my foot against his, lean my head sideways to catch his eye, it’s worth it.
He can’t think of anything better than this. Anywhere else he would rather be.

Summary
He wakes up, to the same consistent rumble of the bus, but at an entirely different angle. Ryan’s let him shift, all the way down, his head and the tops of his shoulders cradled against Ryan’s thighs, which, for the record, is so comfortable it kind of scares him. It feels like Ryan is an extension of Naim already, and when he blinks, slow and tired and a little confused, he can see the way Ryan presses his lips together, like he’s trying hard not to smile.
It’s too bad. Naim likes it when he smiles. Naim thinks he likes most everything that Ryan does.

The hard line of the monster’s body curved to fit his, a perfect fit to his shivering body, the nickname Ryan had gifted him causing his breath to hitch.
His hands dug into his pillow, physically fighting the desire threatening to consume him, to fight the flames that wanted to burn them both to the ground.
