He felt it in his hands first as they froze mid clap. Then in his chest, his spine, the dryness in the back of his throat. “Who is she?”
“Hm? Oh,” Hanta broke away from Denki slowly, squinting through the work light’s glare. Recognition colored his face. His smile arrived and fell just as quickly. “That’s Dyna.”
Dyna.
Or; It's 1986 and Eijirou finds refuge in New York City's underground ballroom scene. He instantly falls for Dyna Might, a fierce drag queen, and learns that when heaven is denied, you make it with your own two hands.

“If Eijirou so much as coughs because of whatever the hell you’re calling ‘life’ right now,” Katsuki went on. “I will burn every data set tied to this mission to the ground. I will dismantle Aquarius piece by piece and feed the scraps to whoever needs to synthesize a cure. I don’t give a shit if it sets spaceflight back a century. I don’t give a shit if it costs me my contract, my reputation, or my freedom.”
Hanta was frozen in place. And Katsuki got a sick sort of satisfaction at seeing the smug bastard suddenly silenced.
“Because unlike some people,” Katsuki’s voice was stunningly level. “I actually give a fuck about what I bring into the world.”
Silence stretched between them for a second before Hanta pushed out a slow sigh. He tilted his head, thoughtful eyes meeting his. “Pot,” he said. “Meet kettle.”
Or; Katsuki Bakugou built the rocket that carried his husband to another world, and has to live with what came home with him.

The second “A” in REAWAKEN: A Sensual Reclamation Retreat is a little flame. Or maybe it’s… a tongue?
They’re somewhere in the Atlantic, which should have been pause number one for Katsuki. You know, if the sex island part didn’t give him pause first.
The heat is different here. And it’s trying so hard to be luxurious in that insufferable way that only the ultra rich manage. Each breath reeks of eucalyptus and lavender. Like someone knew that they’d all arrive sweaty and unspeakably tired. Like someone built the entire resort, hell, the entire island, around the idea that the world had broken them and this was the best it could do to tape them back together. Sun. Salt.
And a professional-grade lube bar.
Or; Katsuki gets sent to a sexual wellness retreat by his friends. Unfortunately his ex gets talked into going to the same one by the same friends.

Something bright and wild flickered in Eijirou’s eyes. “You will undo me, Kaer’nai.”
Before Katsuki could answer, priests entered in a line, carrying a brass bowl etched with ancient flame sigils. Thick silver liquid glowed faintly within the bowl. The lead priest bowed. “Runek Bakugou. Drake Kirishima. The hour has come.”
Eijirou turned toward Katsuki one last time, the heat in his gaze was unmistakable. “Whatever happens, remember,” he whispered. “I will not take what you do not offer. But gods, Katsuki… I have never wanted anyone the way I want you.”
Before the bowl could be lifted to his lips, Katsuki leaned in, barely brushing Eijirou’s mouth with his own as he spoke. “Tonight, you will not bow to prophecy. You shall only bow to me.”
Or; The Thren’Kai is a holy union, binding kings to their dragons. As Katsuki ascends to the throne, it is his time for such a bond with Eijirou. This ritual ignites heat in the both of them, and the Dominion’s council expects Katsuki to not only survive it, but to bare its consequences.

“What’d’ya say, puppy?” The name in his direction felt dirty. Almost viral. Like just the tone would make Eijirou sick with it. Like having Bakugou in front of him, liquor warmed and ghosted in the haze of cigarette smoke, wasn’t already enough to solve this desire. “Take the offer now before you lose it.”
He felt suddenly sexless in comparison to this man. Contained to something private and distant. He’s in this… perpetual state of wanting to be a part of something like this. To be held. To be possessed. He’d been told his whole life that he could not belong as he was. He had decentered his identity to be made tolerable, palatable, invisible.
But now?
Eijirou wanted to be seen.
“Yes, sir.”

Or; The Village in ‘77 is hot in every sense of the word and Eijirou wants it all. Except, he isn’t sure he’s ready for it yet. Until his friends bring him into his first ever leather bar and he meets Bakugou, an Old Guard with a mean streak and a black hanky in his left pocket.

Katsuki Bakugou, the indomable Heraldo of Ares, is struck by a savage, irrational devotion toward a stranger—a feeling he utterly loathes Eijirou Kirishima, the noble Heraldo of Apollo, is overcome by a visceral disgust and a blind hatred toward the blonde that eats away at his own morality.

The kitchen was where Katsuki thrived. Barking orders and overseeing dishes before they went out; always on time, always perfect, always dependable. Cooking was something he could understand. It came naturally to him.

Kids? Katsuki hated them. Well, he didn’t hate them, he just didn’t understand them. Especially not Kota; the angry eyed, bad tempered kid Ochako adopted years ago. So why was he suddenly the one taking care of him? Katsuki didn’t know what to do with him. He wasn’t good with kids. Especially grieving, angry, rude kids. He had a full time job. And anger issues. And R rated movies. Why anyone thought this was a good idea, he didn’t know.

Just because he had a kid to take care of now didn't mean he'd forgotten how to do his job, though. So why did his boss feel the need to hire a new chef? One with red hair, at that. Who played goddamn opera in Katsuki's kitchen like it was okay and smiled like he was having fun.

Nobody played music in his kitchen. No one asked Katsuki personal questions while he was cooking. No one asked him to hang out outside of work. So why was this new guy doing exactly that? And why was Katsuki struggling to turn him down?

Katsuki just wanted to go north to find his family again, to let them know he's still alive. Kirishima finds him and promises to get him there after the winter thaws. That's it.

It was supposed to be temporary. But somewhere along the way, the water changes. A place where mers are safe. Where younglings are raised in the open. Where humans don't hunt. A place where no one is kept unless they choose to stay.

Katsuki doesn't trust it, doesn't trust the humans. He definitely doesn't trust the way his body reacts: to the water, to the others...to Kirishima. Because if it is just instinct, he can leave.

"What time s'yer patrol?" Eijirou mumbles out against Katsuki's skin, warm under the glow of the sunrise and where Eijirou's cheek was pressed against it.
