Summary
On the French-owned island of Corsica resides the kingdom’s most dastardly villains. Some were of France itself, such as the wealthy fur trader who nearly bankrupted the king’s court in Versailles. But others were imported by other nations, usually as an offer of peace or a trade agreement, such as the criminal leader Jaafar sent by the Ottoman Sultan.
France held many prisoners on the island, in turn treating the island residents themselves as criminals. But the naïve prince Benjamin thought it a barbaric system.
He was right, of course, but not for the reasons he thought he was.

Summary
There were many leaders of Zaun since the days when the idea was first generated by three miners with a radical dream everyone else thought would stay in their sleep.
First there was The Hound of the Underground, rallying the nation to strike against those big-dollar murderers that claim to run the city.
Then there was The Eye of Zaun, his watchful gaze stunting Zaun’s growth while he waited for the moment to free it.
Then there was The Blue Smoke, more of a symbol than anything else, shielding Zaun from Piltover’s ever curling iron fist.
But now… no one knew for sure. There weren’t many options left in Zaun that held the same weight as before. It was as if this nation in the wake of its functional independence had no identity left to rally with.…or, What if Jinx dies instead of Isha in Episode 6?

“Probably,” Lex agrees, and yet neither of them make a move to untangle themselves. “Do you want to stop?”
For a long moment Alice is silent in thought. She drapes her arm across Lex’s shoulders, which is an answer enough, but she says, “no, I really don’t,” anyway. All breathy and too attractive for Lex to handle.
There’s a beat. Another moment of silence. “Me neither.”
Alice drags her back with the squeeze of her arm around Lex’s shoulders, crushing them together.
