Astarion straightened, a half grin on his lips now.
“Yes, I would assume you don’t usually make a habit of leaping into the muck at the slightest provocation, though your outfit says otherwise.”
He reached a hand toward her, palm up, offering to assist her out of the creek. Jen stared at it for a moment, half of her wanting to step forward and touch it, to verify its existence. The other half knew damn well that such an action would be a deadly folly.
“I think I’ll stay in the creek, thanks.”
She saw him stiffen, his gaze sharpening before he sneered his question at her.
“I’m sorry, do I know you?”
“Nope,” she responded, probably too nonchalantly. “But I know who you are. What I don’t know is how the hell you’re here.”
Set about a century after the events of Baldur’s Gate 3 and the fall of the Elder Brain, follow Astarion as he figures out how the hells to navigate this new plane he’s stumbled into with the help of his weird little guide. With any luck, between the two of them, they’ll be able to complete the quest he originally set out on.

Summary
Sometimes domestic life in Baldur's Heights is frogs in the flowerbeds. Sometimes it's a neighbor meticulously tending her blades in full view of the street. Gale, like any rational mind in the age of cat memes, takes his concerns to the internet.

Summary
“Tyrus?” Cynda asked, fully concerned now as she tugged on Halsin’s fur to turn back. “Tyrus, is something wrong?”
Astarion was far closer, however, eclipsing Cynda’s view of Tyrus as his partner leaned in and muttered softly to him.
Cynda felt a constricting twist of sorrow and joy as she watched: sorrow, for whatever plagued Tyrus; joy, to see he’d fallen for someone so attentive; then sorrow again, at how little she understood about the brother she once knew better than herself.
Or: Cynda asks her brother five times about his life in Szarr Palace—the sixth time, he opens up to her on his own (AKA a good old 5+1 fic, Aman’del-sibling-style)
