Summary
Different characters of EPIC: The Musical mysteriously vanish only to appear in a theatre garden by a unknown goddess. They are meant to judge Odysseus and decide the king's fate: will he return home and successfully save his family or will he fail to come home? Only the people chosen can decide the man's fate through watching the man they know sing about missing his wife.

Buck thought going back to the 118 would be hard, but he knew that his team, his family, would move on from the lawsuit. Only Bobby placed him on B-Shift where his team and new Captain have made it their mission to make Buck's life a living hell. When it becomes too much and Buck starts thinking about ending it all, he receives a life-changing phone call from Captain Owen Strand who would like Buck to come join them down in Austin at the 126. Buck immediately jumped at the opportunity to get away from everything. Only his mental health problems didn't go away with the move and Buck struggles with what happened and how to start a whole new life. The 126 are not about to let him go through this alone and together they show Buck that he has a family with them and they would never turn their backs on him.

Summary
Buck is bored, barely hard, and very fucking frustrated. He tries to think of something else, of the porn he usually watches, of how he touches himself when he's alone (and does a much better job than Robert), but nothing works.
It's as if the only thing his mind can focus on is how disappointed this whole encounter is, how no one seems to be able to understand what he wants.
Eddie would understand what I want right away.

Summary
He realizes it right before everything goes to shit. He’s just standing there in the loft and Eddie’s handing him Christopher’s backpack and talking about “he’s not that fast” and “order pizza” and Buck sort of stares at him—partly in shock, partly in reverence—and he thinks "I love you." He shoves it down immediately, of course, as far down as it’ll go, but the fact of the matter is, it’s there somewhere, floating around inside of him. He can’t get rid of it now.
Not that it matters all that much, though, because there’s the whole quitting thing and the lawsuit thing and the argument in the grocery store and by the time he’s given his (re)start date he knows; he well and truly fucked up.
