Summary
Aziraphale looked around again, a thoughtful frown pulling at his lips. “I know what human love feels like, and this is… as I said, out of focus. Sideways, somehow. It doesn’t flow the same way.”
He tilted his head, almost as if he was listening for a moment, then continued. “And now I think of it, it’s almost familiar somehow, too.”
(Crowley keeps working to hide his love from Aziraphale. Aziraphale keeps sensing it anyway. Aziraphale just doesn't know what it is, until...)

Summary
Demons were not meant to be sentimental.
“Sentiment” involved feelings like tenderness and nostalgia and fondness and, worst of all, love.
Demons did not, under any circumstances, love.
Well.
Under most circumstances.
There was, however, an outlier in the equation.
His name was Anthony J. Crowley, and he was quite possibly the most sentimental being to ever walk the face of the earth, period.

Summary
“A holiday.” Aziraphale repeats the words carefully. Like he’s tasting them. “To celebrate...”
Us, Crowley thinks, but doesn’t say. You and me. We’re still here. Not together, no, we’ll never be that. But you’re alive, angel. I’d celebrate that every day if I could.
(Crowley and Aziraphale celebrate the anniversary of Their Side. Aziraphale is round and lovely, including very round and very lovely arms, and Crowley is a conifer.)

Summary
"Angel.
Why did Crowley always call him that? He always assumed it was an adversarial jab, a reminder of their opposition to each other, but after all this talk of “our side,” Aziraphale had rather assumed he would stop. But he didn’t stop. If anything, he had been using it more as of late.
Better not to bring it up, the angel thought, but somehow that thought must not have had the right amount of conviction behind it, because moments later Aziraphale heard himself asking quietly, “Crowley, why do you always call me ‘angel’?” He kicked himself the moment it came out. He dreaded what the answer might be."
In which Crowley is hopelessly in love with Aziraphale, and Aziraphale is hopelessly oblivious and in denial

Summary
Crowley has probably just made the biggest mistake he could ever think of. Bolting from the bookshop quickly, he ends up in his "safe place" drinking himself stupid. Thankfully, Aziraphale finds him and he finally makes the confession that has been buried deep down for the past six thousand years. God it feels good to have it out in the open.
