Summary
Leon is a monster hunter in the Wild West. He spends most of his time drifting between states and territories, looking for monsters to kill for Mr. Wesker. Mr. Wesker pays him finely for his work, and he doesn't mind doing it. One day, Leon comes to a sleepy town called Bright Hope, where a young girl has gone missing. Her father is hysterical about her. When Leon promises to go save her, he experiences something that will haunt him for the rest of his life. This kind of horror... it shouldn't be inflicted on anyone, let alone an innocent girl like you.

You get hurt while in the Shadow-Cursed Lands, and Gale finally musters up the courage to talk to you while you're recovering in your tent. He nurses you back to health, with the help of Shadowheart's magic, of course. Then, you're out adventuring once more. You and your party encounter the monstrous mass of a creature, Thisobald Thorm, and things end... poorly. The party goes back to camp to wash the remnants of the undead creature off, and Gale does not hide his attraction to you.
