Best Samfro fic I have read, hands down. The permeating desperation, the dim but never-dying trail of hope, the powerlessness in the face of fate, or shall I call the ultimate peace/emptiness of mind bestowed upon you by the fatalist/heroist epic. Everybody is but willow leaves flowing down the stream.
