As the expected seconds ticked by, Dash shifted uncomfortably, feeling sweat prickle his skin. He grimaced and tugged off his letterman. It exposed the little DP pin that he wore, green and glossy and fixed high up on his chest, but hell, his admiration for the ghost wasn’t exactly a secret. He plucked at his shirt again. The library AC had never worked very well to begin with, but now he was beginning to wonder if it was broken. The sun slicing through the window was barbed, relentless against his exposed skin. He scratched at the back of his neck and wiped some excess moisture out of his hair while he was at it.
Somewhere in that time, Danny had made it to the library, and now he shuffled listlessly up to the table. He was, inexplicably, wearing a black long-sleeve under his typical white t-shirt.
“Dude, how are you not roasting that thing?” Dash groaned without preamble.
Dash is having a very strange two weeks. Objectively, they're not that weird, but there's this school project that may or may not be turning everything on it's head.

Summary
