Summary
You first met Denji when he was still a homeless and in-debt teenager, barely scraping by with weeks old plain bread, and with some sort of compassion within you, you decided that he was worth saving for.
At first, you thought that this love was harmless-cute, even. But with every act of kindness you show him, his obsession deepens.
"You're the only one who's ever been good to me," he confesses one night, his eyes wide and desperate. "I'll protect you no matter what. That's what husbands do, right?"
How would he deal with his life, when you had turned and disappeared right infront of him into a world so far that the mere concept of it was so complex that he has difficulty to grasp it?
He was a selfish man after all, you give him your finger and he would grasp your entire arm.
