“It’s a nickname. Short for Donatello.”
“Heh.” He quirks a smile. “Kinda a coinkydink ‘cause-”
“Hamato Donatello.” Leo’s head shoots up and the turtle looks back. “My brothers are Leonardo, Raphael, and Michelangelo. They have nicknames too. Mikey, Raph…” He tilts his head, urging, “Leo.”
Leo stares, looking for any sign of deception. The turtle keeps talking, almost as if he’s trying to get the words out before his brain can catch up. “We’re a team. We fight crime and save people. I have a father. We call him Splinter. He’s a rat. Used to be a human. Adopted me and my brothers, taught us ninjitsu.”
Leo’s paralyzed. He waits for the snickers, or for the punchline.
The turtle does not shirk away, eyes bright with the maniac look that Donnie gets when he proves a theory correct and is dying for a single person to acknowledge that he’s the smartest being on planet earth.
“So. Leo.” It’s conversational, calm, eager. “What’s your family like?”

Summary
In one universe, Hamato Renaissance is the youngest of five siblings at age thirteen. She uses a weapon made by her older brother Donnie, and has mystic abilities from a bow string that she stole. She looks to her brothers for support, and often feels like she needs them.
In another universe, Hamato Renaissance is the youngest of quintuplet siblings at age 16. She uses a bow that her father and sensei handed down to her. While not strong physically, her brothers look to her for emotional support whenever they feel upset.
The family balance gets disrupted when the two Renaissance’s swap bodies suddenly and don’t know what happened to their families.

Summary
A deeper look into Leo's injury and recovery into season three.
The van came to a rough, halting stop, Casey Jones winced at the jolt from behind the wheel. Casey was never the best driver, and typically, Raph would have cussed him out- telling him he needed to learn how to drive, but he had other worries that led him elsewhere. His mind couldn’t falter away from the unconscious body in the back seat of the van, because that was his brother. Sure, they had fought like siblings usually did, probably even more than what was officially called normal. The two bantered like crazy, always thinking they knew what was best and tried their hardest to prove the other wrong. Raph never would have even thought of this happening to Leonardo. No, the lot of them weren’t normal- they were talking ninja turtles for crying out loud- but Leo was just a teenager, like him. This shouldn’t be happening to someone so young, because .. Raph was truly afraid that Leo may not push through this one.

Leo from 2012 and Rise Leo switch bodies. They come to the grand conclusion to try and play it cool and pretend to be the other Leo till they can figure out how to fix this whooooole situation. I can only see this going well and definitely not lead to some, oh I don’t know… Shenanigans?
Time line wise Rise Leo defeated the Shredder but hasn’t been declared the new leader yet. 2012 Leo has killed the Shredder.
