Jon is crying over his mom’s chest when he remembers her phone. Thankfully he’s memorized her password, despite his mom not approving of him knowing. Not allowing hesitation, he calls his dad. He puts the phone on speaker, squeezing his mom’s hand in his, wishing beyond anything that she would squeeze back. It rings, and rings, and rings-
And he doesn’t pick up.
He sobs, wanting to curse him out for ignoring him, for not being here when he needs him. When mom needs him. He doesn’t dial again, not knowing how much time his mom has before she’s really truly gone. He knows sometimes people can be brought back. Even if Jon doesn’t know how, someone does. Someone has to save her. Even if he gets in trouble, gets arrested or punished for hurting her, he needs help. He dials 911.
Unlike his dad, they pick up right away. Jon doesn’t wait for the lady to finish her introduction before he’s blurting out-
“I killed my mommy.”

«Jason...» Jon almost seemed to whine as he spoke his name. «Damian literally kidnapped me, he tied me up, took my powers to the brink and got me involved in things I didn't want to be involved in, don't you think if I had bad intentions you would have figured that out like, mhn, seven years ago?» he put it to him wryly, but Jason's expression didn't change. He had even crossed his arms over his chest, and even Dick had begun to look at him with a suspicious frown.
Jason bit down on his cigarette filter again, not at all impressed by those words. «That still doesn't answer what I asked you.»
«I don't know what you expect me to say.»

Superboy Prime came to this Earth expecting greatness.
In his mind, this was it—the universe where he would finally be recognized as the real Superman. The strongest. The most capable. The hero the Justice League would admire.
Surely Batman, of all people, would see his potential.
Instead of a world-ending mission or a battle against Darkseid, Batman gives him something far worse:
babysitting super sons.
Not the well-behaved kind, either.
Jon kent and Damian Wayne are chaos wrapped in black tactical gear, armed with sharp tongues, sharper weapons, and absolutely no intention of making this easy for him.
What Prime thought would be his rise as Earth’s greatest hero quickly turns into a test of patience, survival, and whether he can make it through one night without wanting to fly straight back to his own universe.
