"Oh, spare me the niceties. You know they are wasted on an insensate sot like me."
Daeron has been dragged to Ashford by his father. With the dream looming over him like a large and dreadful shadow, he wishes to be anywhere else, to be anything but sober. Neither wish is granted, and it only goes downhill from there.

He breaks down, and Obi-Wan is there to pick up the pieces, even if the weight of Anakin's crimes is too heavy to imagine.
