Summary
I loved playing the game so much that I needed to do something with this serious case of post-game hangover. IRL me ADORED Owen, but my builder romanced Logan because it made more sense for her fix-it personality (if anyone can fix Logan, it's Lucy). But Owen deserves his happily ever after too, so I made it happen. Forgive me, this is my first fan fic.
*A parallel, multi-POV telling of two love stories between two builders and the ones they weren't expecting.

Summary
After her ACI career is cut short, Lucy starts a new identity and new life in Sandrock unaware that foul play and a certain yakboy will interrupt her peace. Logan is a man struggling with demons. When the new builder blows into his life she upends everything, making him face his fears and dragging him into a future he never thought he'd get to have.
This story is a canon divergence of the basic plot. Lucy and Logan meet way earlier here than in the game. **Big spoilers for the main plot.**
This is both a love story and character study at heart.**Story gets really dark in several chapters. Read the beginning notes for trigger warnings relevant to the chapter and take them seriously.** Yes, I tagged mental health issues for a reason.
We do not like Pen here.
This is a full adventure that begins the "Desert Spy AU" series. This can be read completely stand-alone, unresolved plot threads are very minor and are resolved by the short stories in the AU series.

Summary
No Commissions, no Mining, no Diving– Nothing. Five whole days completely on ice.
It wasn't the result Logan wanted for her, but it's the sentence the Builder ended up getting after her old injury flared up and led him to make her problems his business. And with the worst storm Sandrock had seen this side of a decade looming on the horizon, it honestly couldn't have come at a worse time.
But when the enigmatic Builder begins refusing to hold up her end of the bargain and adhere to doctor's orders as promised, it sets into motion a swift series of events between the pair- ultimately resulting in the Hunter receiving answers to a multitude of questions he had both sought and avoided the answers to for over two months.
And as more of her background comes to light... Logan somehow ends up making some startling realizations about his own feelings in the process.
