Summary
Sidon approached Link, and all Link could focus on was the new collar the man was sporting. It was significantly larger than the one he was accustomed to and more ornate. It was a symbol of his engagement. His blue eyes drifted up away from Sidon's neck to his face. The shock melted from it and Sidon's arms abruptly shot up into the air.
"It's good to see you, my friend!"
No matter how long they'd been together, Sidon had continued to refer to him as "my friend". He had admittedly begun using "friend" and "love" interchangeably, but the term had never previously left Link feeling anything other than cherished.
When Link didn't say anything in response, Sidon's expression shifted again, concern washing across his face. "Link, is something wrong? Are you alright? What happened?"
'Yona told me you would be here.'
