Summary
The Great War left scars on many. Lieutenant Gabriel Agreste, a newly-married man, doesn’t arrive at the front until close to the war’s end, but this doesn’t lessen its effects. Five long months are spent in the middle of the battle zone, leaving him to wonder when it will all be over. Things take a turn for the worse when his platoon is ambushed and he is severely wounded. Fortunately, Gabriel is rescued by a group of nurses, who take him to their camp to recover. He soon befriends the nurse who initially found him: Nathalie. Before parting ways, they promise to keep in touch.
Time and circumstances come between them, and they lose contact. Nearly a decade later, Nathalie returns to find Gabriel a changed man. The death of his wife—thanks to the Spanish Flu—has left him a shell of the person he once was. As Nathalie takes on the role of governess for his son and the two come to terms with their memories from the war, their friendship rekindles. These challenges bring them closer, and eventually, something changes between them. But is this change something they could possibly see through?

Summary
In a time of mermaids and pirates, Gabriel Agreste lives with his young son, Adrien, in a seaside mansion. After the death of his wife a few years earlier, he keeps a close eye on his son, never letting him go farther than the beach on his own. Even this strict rule may change, for mermaids have become more ruthless than ever with their new ruler, Audrey Bourgeois. Sailors have disappeared from the nearby villages, drowned for sport.
Not all mermaids agree with the violence. Nathalie is one of these mermaids, though she keeps her thoughts to herself. The last time someone vocally disagreed, she’d been banished and presumed dead.
Throughout history, the Agrestes have been known for being nearly impossible to entice. With her own personal history with Gabriel, Audrey is determined to change that and formulates a plan: lure his young son into the sea. Unfortunately for Audrey, she’s brought along the wrong mermaid.

Summary
Determined to stop Jett's schemes, Anakin and Obi-Wan launch an assault on an ice moon controlled by the Separatists. New intel suggests that they have joined forces with a local band of pirates. The two Jedi Knights lead the first wave, with Commander Tano, Captain Rex, and select members of the 501st following, attempting to secretly infiltrate the base and destroy it. However, the plan backfires when their gunship is shot down, leaving Ahsoka, Rex, and the survivors of the crash stranded with dangerously plummeting temperatures. Anakin and Obi-Wan are left to complete both parts of the mission while worrying about the rest of their teammates. What will happen when the pirates discover their whereabouts? And who is this new villain working with Jett?

Summary

Their objective is to put an end to the schemes of a vile crime lord by infiltrating a masquerade ball organized by him. Little do they know, this crime lord isn't all that he seems, and the mission takes a dangerous twist when the difference between friend and foe is indistinguishable.

Perhaps these rumours are true, but Christine can only wonder, is there more beneath than what lies on the surface?
