   • But the idea of it hit me a few days after I finished the previous fic in the series
   • I know Yuri is like an actual adult
   • but I only have experience writing teenagers and young adults
   • so apologies if she sounds like an angsty 20 year-old instead of a hardened police captain turned vigilante
   • But I think I did a decent job

   • There are probably some moments that read as shippy but I adore the friendship between Yuri and Spider-Man

   • Don't get your hopes up for a Peter/Yuri ship in any later additions in this series

   Summary

   As is says in the title. You don't have to read the previous two fics in the series to understand this one but I do encourage it.

   During Wraith's continuing investigation of Cletus Kasady, a.k.a. the Flame, she decides to call in some back-up and discovers something about Spider-Man in the process.
