That seemed to just be how it worked; you met your Fated, normally spent about 2 weeks learning about them and then promptly married or mated depending on their customs. That wasn’t on Rin’s agenda. She was going to use her degree and the longer lifespan to become a powerhouse in the business world and find her fated in a few centuries.
