Miko gets kidnapped, but it's fine, because the guy who's kidnapping her doesn't want to hurt her or anything. He just needs her help getting his husband out of jail. He'd do it himself, but he's a giant robot truck, so he can't exactly walk up to the guy at the impound lot and hand over his license and registration, and unfortunately she's the only human he knows that he doesn't think will immediately turn him over to the other giant robot trucks (and cars, and motorcycles, etc.).

This fic has since been discontinued and I’m not even close to being in the fandom anymore, but this poem still sticks with me. I come back to read it periodically.
