    Summary

    Time is not linear but cyclical. The end is, and will always be, an immutable constant. You can rewrite the first chapter, but the closing line will invariably end with slaughter. To change fate is to write a whole new novel.

    There is something strange about the new boy in Gojo’s class. The world tells him his name is Itadori Yuuji, a boy burdened by the weight of expectation and possessed of powers beyond his years. His Six Eyes tell him he is a monster, an indomitable force with venomous fangs and bloodstained claws. His soul, however, sees just a child.

    Itadori travels back in time to when Geto and Gojo are still in school. Tragedy has not yet been put into motion, and Itadori will do whatever it takes to put an end to it, even if it kills him - especially if it kills him.

    “Yuuji-kun,” Gojou says, tone all infinite patience. “How could I know that the random teenage boy trying to friend me on social media was my time-traveling student?”

    Yuuji rolls his eyes. “Because you’re Gojou-sensei.”

    It’s hard not to be a little charmed.

    "Why didn't you just deflect the curse with Infinity?"

    "If I'd done that, it would've just bounced off me and gotten Yuji," Gojo replied calmly. He seemed to be taking all of this in stride, swinging his legs back and forth as he sat on the examination table clad in a black t-shirt that hung off his narrow shoulders and went down past his knees, the rest of his too-big clothes piled next to him. "Since he was the next closest person."

    "And you couldn't think of anything better than just letting it hit you?"

    Gojo shrugged. "I didn't really have that much time to think. It was gonna get Yuji." He said that like it was obvious, that of course he'd pick getting hit by the curse himself over letting Yuji do so.

    Ieiri sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose between two fingers. "Yeah, well, it got you. And right now I don't know how to fix you."

    "Wait, what?" For the first time, Gojo's calm slipped. "Can't you just use RCT?"

    "I can't heal you because you're not hurt," Ieiri explained slowly, like she was speaking to a child…which, yeah, okay, fair. "You're just…six."
