Summary
On their way back to Erid, Rocky and Grace discover a mysterious box. Upon opening it, the two discover some strange changes. Well, perhaps way more than strange.
Rocky finds a new marking on his arm similar to Grace's scar, and Grace finds markings similar to Rocky's on his arms and legs.
Rocky begins to dream and can easily wake from sleep, and Grace can stay up for much longer than a normal human should.
Grace starts seeing sound when it's too dark to properly see, and Rocky starts seeing pops of colour in his sound vision.
Neither can understand what's happening to them and how they're seemingly linked together, but they know there's nothing in the world that could tear them apart.
(TLDR: This fic will include almost everyone's favourite things! Rocky learns about how Grace got on the Hail Mary (Including Rocky witnessing the memory of Grace being sent on the Hail Mary)! Boots crunched the sand beside his face. His best friend kneeled down by his side. Their red eyes met, and Grian smiled.
“You’re…” Scar looked at his wings— broken and mangled beneath him— with horror in his eyes. He saw the orange sand. He could see his broken ribs. He couldn’t hide behind excuses or his other lives anymore. “Oh, God, Grian. They told me you were dead. That you died in the fall.”
Grian survives the fall from Monopoly Mountain, and gets his final reunion with Scar.

Summary
Viktor turns back to the window. The tree outside sways slightly in the wind. “I was just thinking about spring,” he says in lieu of moving like Jayce wants him to. He feels Jayce lean his weight against the sill.
“What about spring?”
Viktor gestures vaguely to his stomach, where the buttons of his shirt are starting to strain from the swell. “She’ll be born in spring, I suppose. If the midwife is right.”
He feels Jayce still, just the slightest bit. “She?”
“Ah…” Viktor hesitates, then shrugs. “No, I’m not sure yet. Just… feeling things out. I would love them either way.”
Jayce’s hands find his, warm fingers curling over Viktor’s knuckles. “So would I,” he says, voice soft and reverent. “I can’t wait for spring to come.”
A knot loosens in Viktor, and he exhales, something settling in his chest. He understands what Jayce means. I can’t wait to meet her.

Summary
Scar’s hand slides down his arm to take hold of Grian’s, lacing their fingers together. “Let me preen your wings,” he pleads softly.
Grian frowns at Scar, “Scar, I told you I’m fine.”
“G, I can see how uncomfortable you are,” he points out, “you’re wincing every time your wings move, and it looks like it hurts.” He watches Grian’s expression, seeing how the man cringes slightly at being called out. Scar squeezes his hand lightly, feeling how warm their palms are against each other. Grian’s palms are calloused, skin thick from building and wielding tools for hours on end. Scar slides his thumb along the back of his hand in gentle strokes, adding to the warmth between their skin. “Let me? Please? At least to make up for knocking you off balance before.”
