Summary
Set roughly eighteen months post-Chosen. Not true to canon of the comics, nor Angel s5!
After the fall of Sunnydale, the Scoobies have a responsibility to the world to locate, train and guide newly-called Slayers. They relocate to a remote corner of England, with a new team of Slayers and allies, but without some key players. Buffy refuses to become a new Watcher's Council, instead they begin the New Guardian Foundation.
As more new Slayers are called, an increasing number of young women are unable or unwilling to manage their new powers. One "rogue" slayer soon becomes many, and the gang are faced with a serious moral quandary regarding what to do with them.
Buffy desperately needs to reach out to the one person who truly understands what it means to be a rogue slayer. Unfortunately, nobody knows where Faith is...

Faith knew when Buffy died. Not because anyone had told her--no, Buffy’s little friends hadn’t had the decency to inform Faith herself. Something they didn’t tell you about having two Slayers was that you could feel it. And normally, you didn’t even notice the feeling, but then suddenly you woke up on your prison cot in a cold sweat, tears on your face and a feeling like someone had ripped out one of your organs and now there was just a void where something else was supposed to go. When Faith woke up like that, she knew exactly what had happened.
Basically, Faith feels Buffy die, and it (eventually) leads her back to Sunnydale just in time for the other Slayer to rise again. Season 6 rewrite where instead of Buffy seeking comfort from Spike, she seeks it from Faith

Three and a half years after closing the Hellmouth, Faith is doing good. She’s living in Cleveland, taking care of her dog, and showing a new Slayer the ropes. There’s just one tiny problem. Buffy moved back in five months ago. And now the feelings she’s been (semi) successfully tamping down for years have been dragged straight back to the surface.
Three and a half years after closing the Hellmouth, Buffy finally has a minute to breathe. She’s back in Cleveland, taking college classes during the day, taking turns guarding the Hellmouth at night, and even mentoring a new Slayer on the side. And then there’s the matter of Faith, who she just can’t seem to stop thinking about.
Or: Buffy and Faith are living together. Things between them are better than ever (even though historically the bar has been in hell). Just as things start to shift into something new and terrifying and unknowable, an ancient artifact is stolen, and an angry God comes calling...
