Summary
After the attack on Atlas, Winter finds herself with new powers, in a new place, with new responsibilities. As the Atlasian folk take refuge in Vacuo, she deals with the guilt and pain of those who were killed in the war as well as her own complacency in it. Emerald is lost, finally on the right path, but so incredibly lost as to who she is. Through each other's pain and losses the two uncover an unexpected connection and forgiveness.
