Unfortunately, Barry didn't really understand what was going on anymore, because Sid was being chased by about twelve million guys in all-black suits (not literally, he corrected himself mentally, knowing Skip took that kind of hyperbole very seriously) and he had no idea where Skip was. Barry continued to stand perfectly still against the wall, hoping nobody would notice him.
"Get the droid!" One guy hollered, panting.
"Boss, her roller-skating prowess—it's off the charts!" Another guy yelled back, projecting a holomonitor that Barry was pretty sure said Roller-Skating Prowess: INFINITE in big rainbow letters on it.
or: norman is knocked out, skip is ejected, sid doesn't have a brain, and barry's always available, if not exactly psychically equipped to handle a brain slug...
