Summary
Harry gets his magical inheritance as a Necromancer on his 16th birthday, the first in centuries. Unsure of his future or even who to trust after the Light shuns him, Harry turns to the Dark, the only other side that can assist him in seeking his revenge. However, it's all just temporary. It's just an alliance until his goals are met and then that's it. Just temporary...right?
Slight Dumbledore and some Order member bashing. Sane Voldemort but Horcruxes do exist. A Harry/Voldemort but incredibly slow-burn. Not really graphic in deaths at least not yet. If that changes the rating will change.- Language:

It's All Just Temporary with a Bit of Necromancy
By TC_HandHarry wakes up as a necromancer, is picked up and tortured by Dumbledore, freed by his friends and ends up allied to Voldemort.
The slowest of slowburns ensues (and I can't believe I attribute the word "adorable" to it). Also lots of political intrigue and maneuvering.Love this one! Still getting updated too.

Lay Down In Potter's Field
By EbenbildHarry is a Potter. He becomes THE Potter when Voldemort makes the mistake of killing him on a Potter's field, making him not only the ruler of the kingdom Beyond, but prompting him to travel back in time.
Now, Harry's new court is gathering: Cedric, Tom Riddle Senior, Percival Graves, and Salazar Slytherin. The dead are walking, they've been slighted for far too long, and their vengeance might just be worse than death. -
Summary
I've turned this work into a series because I've realised it made more sense than keeping to one huge work.
The first installation focuses on the summer of Year 4 and the murder mystery. The part featuring the actual school year will come after and there will be a few one shots in the middle.

the unveiling
By vazaha_tyaThrough dreams of his ancestors' deaths, Harry finds out not only that the Potter family is connected to death, but that his father can't have died by Voldemort's hand.
This kicks off a cascade of events that lead to being emancipated, graverobbing to get an undead James Potter out, solving the mystery of the McKinnon deaths, and finding out Lily engineered more of the fate that befell Harry than anyone would have liked.Next up: getting his distant cousins to help in a cleansing ritual, getting Theo Nott up help in waking an undead James, getting the ministry and the public to pull their heads out of the sand, and getting Dumbledore to stop being so damn cryptic and manipulative. Some of those are more likely than others.

Too old to be this young
Nadia_CastilloHarry accidentally ends up in a different dimension where Riddle is a cutthroat politician ruling magical Britain. Harry takes this as permission to be an absolute menace and at the same time as invisible as he can manage - until he catches the Riddle's attention. And obsession.
Includes but is not limited to: Harry caring too little. Harry caring too much. Riddle's 10-year-plan of wooing a man allergic to relationships (and strawberries, how dare). A chicken that is not a chicken. A neighbour who may or may not be an alien. A neighbour who is definitely a demon. And giant eldritch monsters, mayhem, and manipulation.Last read: chapter 34

Summary
The plan was simple. Give Sally the baby. Let her raise him to the best of her ability. Remain in the background and provide support as needed.
Well yeah.
Sally dying of a natural cause? Not part of the plan.
Unwilling to give up Percy to the chaos that the mortal world's foster system would be, Poseidon makes a spontanous decision to raise him all on his own. As a mortal. On land.
No interference rules? Well, he was never good at keeping to his brothers nonsense.
Still, he has to do it in secret. No one shall find out.
Well, he might have sharp teeth, but in this case, he bite more than he could chow.
Other people get involved. Things change.
Camp Half-Blood is not prepared for the result.

What the sea claims, it will protect
By BlindPassengerSally dies from medical issues and Poseidon, unwilling to have Percy end up in the system, decides to raise his son himself. He quickly finds out that raising a mortal child comes with some... difficulties. Especially when you're unable to keep your immortal family out of this. And your son quickly realises he's a water bender. And he never learned to respect any authority whatsoever.
Pair that with Chiron's questionable decisions regarding camp and demigods, Zeus' inability to see past his paranoia, and a good dose of common sense from Percy - and what could possibly go wrong?Last read: chapter 21
