Summary
“Right now, I know that I am here in California. I know I was signed to the Trojans. I know that I was with the Foxes while I healed, that you and I spoke often.”
“We did.”
Jean breathed in and his lungs burned with it.
“When I am stuck in these moments, those things did not happen. It is as though I do not know that life anymore. What I know is that I died in the Nest. I do not know how, maybe Riko let me bleed out on his floor, maybe I broke my promise. But I know I did not leave that place.”
A character study exploring Jean's relationship with healing, trust, and his past. Or, how he handles a moment in his recovery that goes a little sideways.

Summary
Author's Summary:
Four years on from his brutal escape, Dick Grayson has managed to carve out a simple, if a little lonely, life for himself – that is until he meets the imposing but kind hearted “successful businessman” Jason Todd.
Four years on from the incident at the Court of Owls, Batman finally has a lead and wrangles Red Hood’s help to track down the last remaining Talon. It’s a case that Jason isn’t awfully concerned about until traces of the Talon keep popping up around his sweet but naïve new boyfriend Dick – a man he would do anything to protect.

Summary
Wyll Ravengard is seventeen years old, which means he's surely old enough to accompany the Flaming Fist as they infiltrate a nest of vampires. And surely—surely his father will understand that he's old enough to know right from wrong, when he sees it?
~*~
"Okay," Wyll whispers, carefully tucking the heavy burgundy blanket around the spawn, trying not to touch. "I'm meant to arrest you. Interrogate you for answers, I think. But—I don't think you can give me answers, not like this..."

Summary
He never quite stopped sleeping with a weapon however, nor with his hand far from it. So when he feels the slightest touch in the night, Wyll doesn’t think. There is no time for thinking in a matter of life or death.
He reacts.
Wyll immediately curls his hand around his blade and throws his body against his mystery opponent. There’s a cry of surprise and Wyll takes advantage of that surprise, immediately pinning them under him with his body weight and pointing his blade inches from their neck.
It’s only then, with his opponent deathly still from under him, does Wyll’s mind catch up to him. He’s straddled a humanoid figure, one that trembles under him with their hands up in surrender. And with his Devil’s Sight— a regrettably useful gift from Mizora— Wyll realizes that he recognizes this figure.
(Or Wyll has been ambushed in his sleep before. When Astarion attempts to get a quick bite in, he is met with the instincts of a monster hunter.)

Summary
So here he is: a monster in the wilderness, a shadow crawling in the sun, trying desperately to be more than his nature. Than the terrified creature two centuries of torment shaped him into.
(Or Astarion reclaims his personhood, one fraught, determined step at a time. And with a little help along the way.)
