  Summary

  Rather than three sons and a daughter, what if Alicent gave birth to three daughters and a son instead, and perhaps even more besides? What if each of her children were touched by madness in their own unique way? One consumed by ambition, another blinded by hatred. One plagued by dreams and omens, while another became a slave to their own impulses.

  Terrible, broken children, born into a cruel and unforgiving world. Raised beneath the shadow of uncertain succession, dynastic squabbles, and long-brewing tension just waiting to explode. All of them fighting for a throne that would never truly love them, a throne that would sooner devour them whole than allow them peace.
