Summary
AU where in addition to significant dreams, Zerxus occasionally gets visions while he's awake that sort of mimic seizures and cause migraines. Symptoms are all made up for whumpy reasons and vary from vision to vision (and fic to fic). You don't need to read each fic in the series to understand the others, but events in each may be referenced in the others.

"“First Knight, there’s been an explosion at the Sorcerer’s University. We don’t know at this time if it is part of an attack-”
“Patia,” Zerxus breathed, the air knocked from his lungs by the announcement. An explosion at a school… The wizard was instantly on her feet, as was Zerxus. “Do you- enough to teleport?”
“I know the area,” she replied, immediately getting his meaning despite the missing words. “Now?”
“Yes. Laerryn, fetch Nydas-” Zerxus said, barely getting the instruction out before Patia spoke the word for teleportation.
Instantly they were transported to the green outside the main academic building of the Sorcerer’s University. Students came to the school from all over Avalir, so as well as classrooms, the school also had dormitories and a few small recreational buildings and dining halls. It may have been hard to find where the reported explosion had taken place and who needed help if not for the sound of children screaming."
Zerxus and Patia arrive first at the scene and fight with everything they have to help the children affected. Everything will be alright, but in the meantime, it's the worst thing either of them has ever dealt with.
