It is the time of the year the annual festival of the Quinquatarus is held, a festival most sacred to the Roman peoples God Minerva. To honour her the blood of man will be spilt upon the sands of the arena in her name, to the thunderous cheer of the crowd. And none shall spill more among the sands than the slayer of Theokoles himself, Spartacus. Joining the battle are the young gladiators Friduric and Kiy who have been trained since childhood in the ways of the arena.
