Riza chose not to, because she resented being asked stupid questions with obvious answers. She resented the sickly-sweet schoolteacher for caring when her papa hadn't, and she resented her papa for being the only one who seemed to understand her. For sharing her single-minded focus, and her bluntness, and her vague aura of something off.
If only she weren't so much like her papa.
If only someone could do both—understand her, and care.

Set during Endwalker, pre-Tower of Babil, spoilers through Garlemald. Sadu/Cirina established relationship.
Eorzeans were not Steppe people. They had not the sense. They followed different customs, strutting about as if they followed a standard of nobility above all others, innocent of the same acts they accused their enemies of. But Sadu watched regardless, holding her tongue as she observed their speeches, and marked well the grain of the khagan's allies.
So it was Broken Glass now, in the Eorzean way, and Sadu kept her thoughts to herself.

The bathroom was utilitarian, in that it had space for a grimy bathtub in the corner, a mirror on the wall, and not much else. It was Silco who'd requested a bathtub, when they'd first settled in, for "the luxury." At the time, they'd found it funny in a grim way, to think that fitting a filthy tub in a tiny room could ever qualify as luxurious. In Zaun, it was all the luxury they could get.
