    Clark Kent had once donated sperm to a local clinic when he needed some quick money to keep himself afloat after moving to Metropolis. He accepted the cash and was happy to help some Omega out there have a child they always wanted.

    Things were great, he loved his job, he had his friends, he even adopted a dog, sure he was single but he still had time to meet someone...

    Things were great, he had five lovely pups Dick, Cass, Jason, Tim, and Conner. His company was doing well, his home was filled with children's laughter, he had supportive friends...

    But about 10 years later, a medical issue and also his children’s constant questions about their father forced him to reach out to their biological father. But would Clark want to meet them?

    He pressed his thumb against the card in his pocket. It moved over the embossed letters in an absent act of reverence.

    Bruce Wayne.

    He'd call about the interview, he decided. That was the right thing. The professional thing to do for both of them. He would call, and he would be a journalist, and he would not think about the bathroom or the heartbeat or the way Bruce had gone still and careful the moment Clark had pulled back, asking "Do you want to stop? " like what he wanted really mattered, even if Bruce looked like he wanted to take, like Clark's answer was the only important thing weighing on him.
    He would absolutely not think about that.

    Or: Superman and Batman meet properly for the first time; Clark does not handle it as gracefully as he should, the heartbeat memorization wasn't on purpose, and he would like everyone to stop looking at him like that.
