“There was a playground in front of my childhood house. I always heard the kids laughing and shouting in joy. Sometimes they cried when they fell over or argued with another kid, or when it was time to go home but they wanted to stay and play with their friends. I wanted that. All of it. At least once, I wanted to play like them. Just once. I begged my parents, but after they snapped at me really harshly, I just… gave up. I never asked again. But I couldn’t stop watching them, feeling jealous.”
“Why? Why didn’t they let you play there?” Sieun leans back toward Suho, lifting his face up so they can look into each other’s eyes.
“My duty was to prepare for school. To be at the top of the class since first grade.”
Or, Sieun has never experienced what it is like to be a kid, having fun freely in the playground, and Suho has to do something about that.

“What is it?” Kant asks curiously.
“Take a guess.”
“Mechanical Heart?” Bison smiles at him.
“Almost. That’s the title I gave to the painting. But the theme is ‘Relationship’.” Kant’s lips part in surprise, looking at the painting again. He’s starting to understand the meaning behind it, but wants to hear it from Bison.
Or Kant comes home after a hard day - and Bison has a little surprise for him.

“I can’t let you pay for everything and…” Akk says quietly but he gets stuck. He clenches his trembling hands into fists and tries to take deep breaths to calm himself down.
“And what?” Aye frowns. “We’ve talked about this a hundred times already, Akk!” Ayan steps closer to Akk and grabs his hands.
“You two are my family, of course I will give you everything I can. My job pays really well so I can take care of the bills and food, and you can buy smaller things for Fah.” Ayan places his right hand on Akk’s cheek, gently caressing the soft, pale skin. His touch is tender – always is – but his words and voice are powerful.
“What’s mine is yours too, Akk.”
Or Akk wanted to make his family happy - but things didn't turn out the way he'd planned.
