“What happened, what’s wrong?” he asked, and she was surprised at how alert his voice was, like he wasn’t just softly snoring beside her.
“Nothing, I just coughed. I think I have a cold,” she said and coughed again.
His hand tightened on her shoulder and he tilted her chin up to get a good look at her face. “What’s a cold? Spirits, you sound awful.”Shepard wakes up with the flu, which isn't alarming to her, but Garrus has never heard of it before and is convinced that there's no way this is normal for humans. Just another small struggle of an interspecies relationship.

Summary

Mordin's pamphlet wasn't as informative as it could have been. He's pretty sure Shepard might be in the same position.
