“Do you want to dance?” Vox blurted out.
Alastor regarded the demon in his room. This puzzling man who consistently steps over the line, who Alastor should’ve killed over and over again for touching him. Alastor should say no, but he doesn’t for some reason, not to Vincent.
Alastor finds himself chuckling and offering his hand out for Vox to take. “Only if I get to lead this time, Vincent.”

Summary
Since Alastor and Vox officially became a couple, he has been struggling to come to terms with his feelings towards that picture box. He is wrestling with many fears about this blossoming relationship whilst trying to conceal other aspects of his dealings from Vox, especially in regard to Rosie. However, Alastor believes if he plays his cards right, everything can go on without a hitch.

There was no longer a distant quality to the sound, it was in front of him, behind a door. Should he knock? Did he need to? Alastor was his husband—even if sometimes he acted like he wasn’t. He opted to simply push open the entryway, hoping Alastor would forgive his lapse in manners.
Alastor's back was turned. He was fiddling with his staff because of course he was. Of course instead of calling, or swinging by the tower Alastor holed himself up in a brothel and fucked around with his staff. No, it's fine. Vox is here now, he’ll bring Al home, he can spend the rest of the day with his husband. There’s no need to be upset, just cherish the moment.
