Despite his long career, Izzy has very little else to his name. There aren't many things that can survive the life that piracy inspires."
With Bonnet gone and Edward lost to the depths of Kraken madness, Izzy tries desperately to keep The Revenge and her remaining crew afloat.
Eventually though, the status quo fractures and a new order takes its place.

Israel Hands was a Felis. In a world were his kind are slaughtered, collared and forced into a life of servitude, Israel locked this part of himself away forever to escape this life and make a name of himself on the sea. Nobody would ever know, not since Hornigold had taught him the consequences of trusting someone.This was until Stede Fucking Bonnet and his band of merry idiots ruined his life, again.

Summary
"So, yeah, now we're trying to look after him. Please give him a little patience, he's earned it, I think."
After the kraken is seemingly killed, the ship drifts aimlessly for a week before the Gentleman Pirate makes his triumphant return. Nobody can believe what has been happening aboard The Revenge in their absence; but more unbelievable is the way that their old friends have rallied around the insufferable Izzy Hands.
While the crew are at odds over whether their tyrannical first mate is deserving of sympathy or blame, Izzy retreats to his cabin and stays there. In pain, desperately unhappy and broken down by Blackbeard, Izzy just can't bring himself to try to return to pirate life.
After all, Izzy knows what becomes of old dogs who have lost their bite.
A deep dive & reimagining of post-kraken life aboard The Revenge.

Summary
Stede stares at Ed, whose expression is eager. “Why do you want to know all this?”
Ed shrugs and grins. “Stede, c’mon.” He raises his eyebrows. “Of course I wanna know how often you dreamed about penetrating Izzy with your sword.”
When Stede tells Ed and Izzy he's had dreams about killing Izzy, Ed doesn't react like Stede thought it would.
For some reason, Ed thinks the dream means Stede wants to have sex with Izzy.

Summary
The last thing Izzy remembered was getting shot and dying, quite painfully. At least he was pretty certain he remembered that happening. So when he woke back up on the deck of the Revenge he was all but convinced he'd landed in his own personal hell.
___________________________Or, Izzy gets flung back in time after dying, becuase what better way for the universe to say "fuck you" than to make him relive all his worst days aboard Bonnets ship. The crew hate him at present. And damn it all, he can't even blame them for it.
But maybe things can go differently this time.
Fuck Bonnet and his fucking "talk it through" philosophy, look at him! He's grown a conscience! And all that's ever done for Izzy is get him Dead!

Summary
Izzy Hands gets a job at Stede Bonnet’s new community centre after getting fired from his previous company. Struggling at home in his marriage to Ed, he first finds both respite and a challenge in the centre, but as he gets to know the people there, he finds something more than a job – he finds parts of himself he’d long thought dead and something that feels an awful lot like family. Even Bonnet manages to worm his way under Izzy’s defences and Izzy, who has never felt something for anyone other than Ed, has to face up to the fact that he might be falling for a blond idiot, and hard. Trying to bury that is initially easy with how much work is involved in keeping the centre running and turning Stede’s whims into something achievable. But when Ed surfaces from a bout of depression and becomes curious about these new people in Izzy’s life, the delicate balance between work and home life threatens to come crashing down.

Summary
It had finally happened, Edward was back and Izzy was not needed anymore, if he ever was. There was no point on pretending otherwise.
It was clear he had been a temporary fix for Stede’s loneliness, and surely the man hadn’t meant everything he had said in the heat of the moment. Stede had always been very friendly with every member of the crew after all, the sweet nothings he had said to Izzy had probably simply escaped his mouth because they were the polite thing to say to your lover in bed.
OR: Stede and Izzy get together after Edward leaves to be a fisherman and just when Izzy is getting used to softness and love, Edward comes back.
