Shane, tired of Hayden’s questions, agreed to head out to the bar with the team. Mistake two. As it turned out, Hayden hadn’t given up. He’d waited until Shane’s anxiety about fitting in found him nursing a beer. It went to his head like bubbles in a fresh popped bottle of champagne. A bottle of champagne that Shane shook too hard, annoyed by the endless questions, and, well, the cork blew. However, instead of a cork, “I’m gay” shot out of Shane’s mouth.
