Buck blushed. “I just mean..! Most guys when they see me, they think, ohh big bulky guy, he must be into manhandling smaller dudes and that’s just not it, you know?” He paused for a moment, checking Eddie’s reaction but he stayed still, so he continued, “I guess it’s my fault, maybe I’m too heavy, I don’t think I’ll find a guy who can mess me around any time soon.”
Eddie blinked, there was this line that he painted in his mind that strictly distinguished between the friendship he carefully cradled with Buck and the primal hunger he suddenly had to fuck Buck across the kitchen table. The alcohol had loosened both of their tongues, and neither of them even had too much of it. However now, Eddie was itching toward that line, and before he knew it, he was already crossing it and reaching towards that inner desire.

Summary
Sofie had seen it. The smile slipping, the mask cracking, the eyes dulling, the light vanishing, the jaw clenching. She had seen it and she would get closer to Buck to seek assurance or protection but it did the opposite. Eddie stopped pretending altogether after the first few times Sofie caught him slipping. He stopped pretending that he wasn't looking, stopped pretending that he wasn't smirking, stopped pretending that Sofie knowing mattered in any way or capacity. Every brush of her hand or shoulder with Buck earned her looks that spelled trouble, smiles that were anything but pleasant, gaze that would melt her insides in the worst ways possible.
What had she gotten herself into?
OR Buck is in a relationship and she takes a closer look into what's going on beneath the layers of the friendship. Eddie Diaz is unhinged trying to show her who Buck belongs to. She's just here for the drama.

Summary
“I’m sorry, I don’t believe we’ve met.” Eddie says, and Buck glances back to look at him because he recognises that sickly sweet tone. His suspicions are confirmed when he catches the wicked glint in his husband’s eyes and he sighs internally. Eddie always was a possessive bastard (in the most affectionate way possible). “I’m Staff Sergeant Eddie Diaz, Buck’s husband.”
The not-so-casual drop of his title, combined with the fact that he’s still dressed in his combat uniform (well, t-shirt and trousers but it’s enough) shouldn’t be as hot as Buck finds it but, hey, he’s a simple man.

Summary
Buck is already on his feet, with a smile warm enough to loosen a bit of that awful tension from Eddie’s chest as he spreads his arms out wide. And Eddie literally saw him two days ago but that doesn’t stop him from meeting Buck halfway, closing the distance between them as he throws his own arms tight around Buck, his face fitting perfectly into the crook of his neck.
“I was starting to worry you’d changed your mind,” Buck jokes – but Eddie knows him well enough by now to hear the bit of truth laced in his words. His breath tickles Eddie’s ear and Eddie tries hard not to dip his head and breathe in Buck’s familiar aftershave. Instead, he casts his eyes over Buck’s shoulder, meeting Lucy’s and he’s pretty sure he isn’t imagining the slight glare she’s sending his way.
Whatever.
She’s barely been here a few months, did she seriously think she could replace him that easily?

The silence is damning.
