Danny and Jazz manage to get away from their parents and their terrible legacy, with only two major catastrophes along the way. Danny gets an internship at Wayne Enterprises and befriends Timothy Drake-Wayne, the CEO of said company.
Jason Todd is considering going back to school, and wants to get his little brother's opinion on the matter. While visiting Wayne Enterprises, he meets this guy who has full command over him. Terrifying. ...Hot.

Summary
Danny and the gang moved to Gotham to lay low, heal. Sort out their lives now that the GIW was gone and the Fenton's had picked their side.
Danny was just minding his own business. Trying to make his way in a strange new city, but he kept getting confused for someone else. Someone who evidently worked pretty high up at WE and shopped at bougie corner stores, and really needed to answer texts from their brothers. He didn't think much of it until he quite literally came face to face with Tim Drake. A boy who shared his face and possibly so much more.

Timothy Jackson Drake is dead. Or at least, it feels like he should be.
Bruce is still missing. Tim feels as though he’s been tortured and violated to the point he should be classified as dead. Apparently, the afterlife is run by a half-dead teenager who keeps throwing eldritch creatures at problems (this alone makes Tim want to die). But that’s not the worst part…
Lucius just transferred ownership of Wayne Enterprises to him.
Tim almost laughs. What a waste.

(ft. tim’s “thought non-existent” guardian angel, bruce’s return causing issues on a celestial scale, the timeline where emotional literacy apparently does not exist, grotesquely optimistic discussions on what a soulmate is, awe-levels of stupidity, violence (read: affectionate), the rage-baiting of Lex Luthor to prevent interdimensional collapse, and more!) Benched and struggling with the feeling that he’s been replaced, Tim sits at his desk at 3 AM debating if it's easier to be here and unwanted or gone and missed.
He wasn't expecting the ghost of Jason Todd to appear in his bedroom and offer him a third option: follow him into the afterlife. No dying required.
The rest of the family has something to say about that.

Danny has freshly turned 18, yay! He's officially made it to adulthood... if you ignore the fact that he's only half alive. That also means that now the Observants are chasing after him in order to make him the King of the Infinite Realms, good thing there happens to be a conveniently placed door when the eyeballs try and sneakily place the crown on him in the Realms. Hopefully where ever he winds up is cool with him chilling there for a bit!

Tim is tired, hurt, and ready to go bed after patrol when someone bursts into his apartment (from the closet door?! How?) while he's still mostly in his Red Robin suit. Guess he's going to have to do some investigating into this handsome stranger before he can go to bed.
TLDR: Tim/Danny meet cute.
