Summary
I've known my heat would be coming ever since I'd gone for my yearly physical and my physician had refused to refill my suppressants. He'd thrown words around like "overdue" and "heatsick." Nobody seems to care that I've been on suppressants for years and that I've always ridden out my heats on my own.
In order to convince his insurance company to refill his suppressant prescription, Grace has to prove that he's at least trying to handle his heats without them. He hires an alpha from a rent-a-mate service, fully intending to send them away after they arrive. (See look, he tired!) Only, when the alpha arrives, Grace lets him inside, and then lets him do far more.
Or
Grace is an omega in heat, and Rocky's the alpha there to take care of him. They fuck about it.

Of all the issues that might befall him after a thousand years in chains, Narinder would have put ‘touch aversion due to touch starvation’ nowhere on the list. It was a ridiculous notion that he should not have had to contemplate, let alone suffer the reality of, but it stubbornly remained. What logical sense was there in ‘physical contact being painful and overwhelming due to wanting it too much’? None, that was what.
Narinder is having a problem, and then the Lamb offers a solution. Now he has multiple problems. Some very pleasant problems, in certain cases, but problems nonetheless.

One thing Elohim noticed about the sheep in Woolhaven—apart from them all being dead—was that a majority of them grew out their wool. Temi had her braids, Koka clearly took good care of hers, and even Aniel did something with hers. Hells, they traded in wool. Having wool meant something to them. It should mean something to Elohim too. They wanted it to mean something.
That morning, Elohim decided to grow out their wool.
They have no idea how to care for it, until Narinder offers his help and they grow closer as a result.
