    “neil?” andrew asked. neil looked up and jolted at the expression on andrew’s face. for all of andrew’s carefully constructed walls were down, the mask of apathy he wore nowhere in sight. instead, andrew’s face was open, raw, contorted with anguish. his eyes, normally glowing golden with the intensity in them, were dull and full of pain.

    andrew stepped closer. his hands were shaking. “neil?” he asked again, when neil could not come up with a response. his voice cracked midway across neil’s name and he wrung his hands together. “did i—? what did—? tell me—tell me—tell me where i went wrong.” his voice broke and his expression crumpled. if neil didn’t know better he’d think andrew would say ‘please’. “whatever it was… whatever i did… i’m sorry. i’m so sorry.”

    neil’s heart broke. “no!” he almost shouted, hurrying across and taking andrew’s hands in his own. “’drew. you didn’t do anything wrong. i promise.”

    [or, a sudden realisation makes neil pull away from andrew.]

    After suffering an omega drop, the team find Lance unresponsive on the floor of his lion, beneath him lays Coran’s monster and mana board. Unable to rouse Lance, it’s decided that Keith would be the one to go in after him, by said omega himself. Keith is a pining idiot, the pack done gone messed up, and Lance has severe depression that everyone missed.
