I always liked Criminal Intent but as I now watch a re-run, it came to mind to search for some fanfic.
I love to read fanfic about my favorite characters but it never occured to me to check if there are some for this duo.Now this is my first story about Eams and Goren and I'm thrilled to found such a well written one! Thank you very much for sharing and I hope you find the muse for more chapters.

After witnessing eight years of his practical, logical approach to the world, she had gone into their relationship with her eyes wide open. But sometimes, his rough, direct approach did more for her than any sonnet ever could. It was him, and for better or worse, he was who she wanted, roughness and all.
