Summary
Jared and Jensen fell in love almost immediately during Season 1 of 'Supernatural'. Once the network realized just how successful the show could be because of the boys' chemistry, they knew some preemptive damage control was needed. Jared and Jensen weren't thrilled with the idea of bearding, but if it meant they could grow their relationship in private, they would do so. Things were OK for a while. They moved in together, they established themselves as a solid couple out of the public eye, and they kept the public happy with pretty things...female things...on their arms.
Flash forward to Season 4.
The producers decided that they needed to amp up the public appearances. Enter Genevieve Cortese and Danneel Harris. The boys were used to it at that point. But then one of the women decided she deserved more. More attention, more adoration, more appreciation.
During the celebration of her tenth wedding anniversary to Jared Padalecki, Genevieve Nicole Cortese ruined her husband's life by making him choose between the two things he cherished most in the world. Neither of which was her.
