Summary
Roman glanced in his rearview mirror and smiled at his sons, one out cold in his car seat and the other excitedly staring back at him from his booster seat. Roman smiled at his older son, Patton, and turned his eyes to the road once more.
“Excited to see Papa?” Roman guessed, smile coiling into a teasing smirk.
Logan didn’t know his family was coming, but Roman knew their intrusion on his workday would be forgiven. His husband could only hold a grudge for so long and it never lasted long when Patton broke out his puppy eyes. Even if it somehow did, Roman had their secret weapon napping in the backseat. A sleepy Virgil wanting his Papa couldn’t be resisted, no matter how recently he had joined their family.
It wasn’t in their plan to adopt a second child, but neither regretted accepting his initial placement with them. And now, Roman couldn’t imagine their lives without their sons.
“Mhm!” Patton exclaimed. “Gonna see Papa working!”

Prince Roman had dreamed of today since he was a child. His fathers were lead to each other this way and they were the happiest couple he’d ever seen! As a child, he asked them to tell him how they met countless times, never growing tired of the tale. They told him to it so often, he could recite it word for word; from his Dad’s coming of age, to the day they were married. He loved the idea of true love and desperately wanted it for himself.

Summary
Deidara was eating a protein bar on the go, which is how he had to eat most of his meals to satiate Sasori’s complete lack of patience. Then Sasori suddenly whipped around, grabbed Deidara’s face, and stuck one of Hiruko’s creepy old man fingers in his mouth.
“Hrng?” Deidara managed to say. This was… this was pretty weird. Not exactly violent, because Sasori wasn’t hurting him, but weird. Really weird.
“You’re chewing on one side,” Sasori accused like Deidara had committed some heinous crime instead of just innocently eating his lunch.
(Technically an exploration of Deidara’s relationship with both Sasori and Tobi, but also technically a crackfic about teeth.)

Naruto groaned as he opened his eyes, but closed them just as quickly. This couldn’t be, he couldn’t possibly be where he thought he was. An ending in one place, was the beginning in the next.
Opening his eyes again, at 9 years old, after knowing he died at 17, Naruto descided for himself to make sure he could keep all his precious people close and to spare them of the grief of losing their own precious people.

Summary
It would make sense for Kakashi to love Rin. It would be easy for Kakashi to love Rin.
He excuses himself to go to the bathroom, and is grateful that it is empty as he throws up roses as red as blood into the toilet. He hacks and splutters. His chest aches and he wheezes for a bit even after it’s all out.
He thinks of the loudmouthed boy that made Rin laugh, with dark hair and goggles and dreams that were bigger than his grades.
It would be easy for him to love Rin, he thinks as he flushes the toilet.
He watches the rose petals spin and disappear, and he doesn't love Rin.
