He would never see Ron and Hermione again... Their faces swam behind his eyes.
"Expecto... Patronum..."
A silvery stag burst forth the same moment cold lips came down upon his.
As Harry Potter's body slumped down the wall of the alleyway, the saviour of the wizarding world was no more.When Harry is too late to produce a Patronus in time to keep a Dementor from getting a taste of his soul, the Horcrux within him takes over his body.
In trying to seal himself more permanently into his new vessel, Lord Voldemort miscalculates and accidentally merges with what is left of Harry Potter.Not quite a Saviour, not quite a Dark Lord, the person claiming the name Harry Potter has to deal with pesky teenagers, hormones and headaches related to a soulbond to the unaware Lord Voldemort, who still wants him dead. Now if he could only convince his not-quite counterpart that their goals aren't that different without him being locked up once he reveals that he's a Horcrux, that would be great.

Summary
On October 31, 1981, a piece of the Dark Lord Voldemort's soul was ripped away from the whole and found a new home within his mortal enemy, the infant named Harry James Potter. What he never expected was that the child, raised so tenderly until then by his parents and their closest friends, would be brimming with the one thing he had always scorned - love. Unable to resist its siren call, that tiny sliver of soul found itself slowly healing, and nearly ten years later experienced a very strange rebirth.
Now a child once more, Tom Riddle sets out to make a new life for himself - one that includes ensuring Harry is healthy, happy, and by his side. Unfortunately, his older self, the broken remains of Lord Voldemort, still lurks in the shadows.

Summary
Harry embarks on a self-appointed quest across the Scottish Highlands. Maybe it’s dangerous to not tell anyone about his plans (especially with an escaped convict on the loose and the giant spiders and the graphorn...) but Harry needs to do this!
Kick-started by a sudden love of fiction, it’s become clear that if he wants a chance of defeating Voldemort, Harry had better get a head start on this character development business that all adventure novel protagonists go through.
Sure, he can’t use magic over the holidays, but he’ll loot all sorts of helpful treasures (like a sword!), finally get the hang of potions via crafting bombs, pick up some hobbies, and make new friends and animal companions to help him along his journey.

Summary
Harry Potter makes a deal with Death to resurrect Tom Riddle and get his annoying corrupted soul out of the afterlife. Harry only naturally does this because he wants to get a nice cushy afterlife that is denied to him because of the little soul shard lodged into the middle of his forehead.
Screw anyone's plan for his life, Harry is going to live for himself and find his own happy ending. IF that involves living alone with cats, and Death so be it. Of course, building a body, resurrecting Tom, and avoiding people that have plans for his fate and future goes sideways up the River Styx without a paddle. And of course, his worst roommate possible is adding water to the boat rather than bailing it out because he caught something called feelings and Harry might have fallen for him too.
There are other characters that get trapped on the journey of love and redemption. Most of them are cats, but who wouldn't love a hairless cat, his wonderful wife, and their raisin offspring. Certainly not Harry.

Harry honestly couldn't care less about other people's expectations of him as long as it doesn't impede his newfound freedom or all the color he has found for himself.
