He knows, he's painfully aware every time he drags himself through the corridors and her concerned eyes land on his intimidating form that she can see it, she can see him for what he's hiding, for what he is. He knows, he knows eventually he'll crack, he'll tell her. He knows, though, once he does, he can't go back.

What would've happened if, upon reflection, Schuey realised Amy was trying to support him and he didn't need to struggle alone and he was able to confide in her in season 14, so he does and he gets the support he should've gotten.
