Zoro is twelve and definitely not lost, when a boy drops from the sky. Never mind the fact that there's no visible sky above Zoro — just the canopy of trees leaves in the forest he's wandered into."Hi! I'm Monkey D. Luffy. Want to join my crew?"
The boy is hanging upside down, one foot entangled on a branch, and the other hanging limply beside. Zoro watches, more than a little baffled, as he wriggles his foot in an attempt to get free.
His foot stays determinedly in place. "Ah. Guess I'm stuck, shishishi!" The boy, Monkey D. Luffy, grins.
Zoro, twelve years old, and honestly, truly not lost, stares at that grin. Then, he resolves himself, and turns around.
