He smiled, a twisted crooked thing, “I’m almost certain you will, my princess.”
She shifted a little—“You won’t stop, if I do?” She asked, nervously.
“Oh sweetheart, I promise you, tears have never been the reason my desire wanes.”
Rhaenyra wailed when he seated himself fully inside of her. Her tears were in pain—partially, but they were in relief too. Finally she wasn’t a maiden, and she had her uncle to thank for that.

It was mercy, to an extent. Blissful ignorance that would lead to their happy story after it all was done.
