Outrider's Handbook, Section 4c: For an Outrider, taking the high ground is almost always the best choice, offering vantage points for wind glider takeoff, reconnaissance, and directing sniper fire, as well as providing shelter from unfriendly eyes at lower elevations.
It's also great for romantic moments where nobody will interrupt you. Starsnatch Cliff is too long of a walk and overrated anyways. Take your girlfriend to the top of the nearest roof instead! (I have it on good authority some women love being swept off their feet and taken on a rooftop date)
