A wrinkle appeared between Jian Yi’s thin brows, and his eyes shone harder. “Do you want to be kissed?”
A lump formed in Zheng Xi’s throat, and he reached up, bunching up the sleeve of his dress shirt to wipe Jian Yi's eyes. He wished he could respond the right way. He was almost tempted to lie just to match Jian Yi’s feelings—finally give him that happiness that he deserved—but Zheng Xi couldn’t bring himself to give him such a lie, even if he yearned to make Jian Yi as happy as possible. “I want to make you happy.”
