The screen illuminated with her girlfriend’s face in a dimly lit room.
“Hey, baby! I’m sorry I’m late. Took a while getting out of the stadium tonight!” Taylor laughed, messing with her hair.
“Mmhmm.” Karlie rubbed her forehead, her expression, pinched.
